That clip is disgusting and I am glad it is being addressed with aggression and demands for public apology. With so much influence the news has on people’s opinions and awareness, sympathizing with a rapist can go a long sick way. So much disappointment is seeping in when I think about this Western culture I live in.

I found my wedding song today.
Two days ago I found out my friends brother died. A drug overdose took him but whether it was accidental or not is still a mystery. I’ve been here before. Hurt, heartbroken, but mostly confused. This dark familiar cloud hovers over me and I feel myself turning against those who have not felt this way before. This cloud that hovers with all it’s sadness and anger is now a part of me. How could I give a piece of myself to someone who has not seen or understood the cloud.
